This survey instrument was used to collect baseline data on farmers’ demand for crop insurance and preferences for payout timing. Developed by Wageningen University and ACRE Africa, it captures information on demographics, farming practices, financial decision-making, mobile money use, and willingness to pay for standard and flexible insurance products. The tool supports analysis of how digital financial services can better align insurance design with women’s economic preferences.
