VOICES-WEE Connect Interview Instrument for Women Elected Representatives

This survey instrument was developed under the VOICES-WEE Connect study to examine digital connectivity, governance participation, and decision-making among women elected representatives (Sarpanches). The tool captures information on political aspirations, campaign logistics, mobile phone ownership and usage for official duties, authority in Panchayat governance, gender norms, and peer networking. It supports qualitative data collection for the study Bridging the Gendered Digital Connectivity Divide to Empower Women Elected Representatives and Their Constituents.

Quantitative Survey Instrument: Financial Privacy Study (January 2026)

This structured survey instrument was used to collect quantitative data on financial privacy preferences, intra-household information disclosure, decision-making authority, and trust within couples. The tool complements the qualitative interviews and captures behavioral choices related to private versus public financial allocations, account visibility, and spousal communication.

Qualitative Interview Instrument: Financial Privacy Study (January 2026)

This in-depth interview guide was developed for the Financial Privacy study and explores household financial decision-making, privacy preferences, intra-household information sharing, and trust dynamics. The instrument includes structured scenarios on private and public accounts, intra-spousal disclosure, and behavioral responses to financial transparency. It was administered to both women and men participants as part of the qualitative research component.

Mobile Money and Empowerment (MME) Survey Instrument

This survey instrument captures individual- and household-level information related to mobile money use, financial behaviour, and women’s economic outcomes. It was designed to support analysis of how digital financial services interact with decision-making, control over resources, and economic participation.

Gendered Preferences for Timely Crop Insurance Payouts: Baseline Survey Instrument (WUR & ACRE Africa)

This survey instrument was used to collect baseline data on farmers’ demand for crop insurance and preferences for payout timing. Developed by Wageningen University and ACRE Africa, it captures information on demographics, farming practices, financial decision-making, mobile money use, and willingness to pay for standard and flexible insurance products. The tool supports analysis of how digital financial services can better align insurance design with women’s economic preferences.
