Zehad Al Mehedi is a Senior Communications Associate at the BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD), Brac University.
At BIGD, Mehedi manages events, develops and implements communication materials, organizes the social media, and works on photography and media visibility for the institute. Before joining in the communications team, he worked as an intern under the HR Department at BIGD. Previously, he worked as a Language Specialist of what3words (w3w)—a proprietary geocode system—where he was involved with language modification, communication and development. Earlier, he worked with Concern Universal Bangladesh and United Purpose. His has also been involved as an Assistant Director, voice artist, writer, and photographer at e-Motion Films. Additionally, he is also involved with Bangladesh Debate Federation as a Joint Secretary.
Mehedi completed his Bachelor’s in Sociology from the University of Dhaka.
