Senior Communications Associate

Zehad Al Mehedi joined BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD) as Communications Officer in April 2019. Zehad manages BIGD’s events, develops and implements communication materials, and organizes the social media. Zehad also works with the photography and media visibility for BIGD. Before joining in the communications team, Zehad worked as an intern under HR Department at BIGD. He worked as a Language Specialist of what3words (w3w) for one year. There, he was involved with language modification, communication and development. Earlier, he worked for two years with Concern Universal Bangladesh and United Purpose.
His work, contribution and creativity as an AD (Assistant Director), voice artist, writer and photographer at “e-Motion Films” were highly appreciated by the media. He is also involved with Bangladesh Debate Federation, the guardian of Bangla debate circuit as Joint Secretary.
He completed his study major in Sociology, from the University of Dhaka.
