Umma Kulsum Kusum is a Program Associate under the Gender and Social Development cluster at the BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD), BRAC University.
Kusum started her career in the government’s primary education sector in 2012. Before joining BIGD, she worked as an experimental school teacher at The Primary Teachers Training Institute (PTI) under the Directorate of Primary Education, Ministry of Primary and Mass Education. Kusum completed her M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Zoology from the National University of Bangladesh. She is pursuing her MBA at Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP).
