Tasnim Tabassum is a mixed-method researcher at the BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD), Brac University, joining the 3rd cohort of the prestigious Young Researcher’s Fellowship (YRF) program in 2023.
Before her tenure at BIGD, she served as a Fundraising Associate at SOLshare, a climate tech company working with smart mobility and clean energy solutions. Tasnim’s research interests are centered on issues pertaining to women and children, income inequality, and sustainable development. Currently, she is involved with the Evidence on Childcare (ECC) project, conducting qualitative and quantitative research addressing poverty and inequality among low-income households.
Tasnim completed her BBA in Economics and International Business from North South University and is pursuing a Master of Development Studies at Brac University.
