Tasfia Mehzabin is a Senior Research Associate BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD), BRAC University. Tasfia joined BIGD as a Research Associate.

Tasfia is currently in the process of completing the thesis for her master’s program in Economics at Miami University, Ohio, USA. She is investigating the association between firms’ ownership and their environmental performance. She did her B.A. from the Asian University for Women (AUW) in Economics. Tasfia has worked in various community service organizations and research projects that work to solve some of the pressing social issues. From there, Tasfia is involved with Campaign RED to bring awareness to the hygienic management of menstruation and break taboos around it.
