Tabassum Nishat has joined BIGD as a Research Associate under the Young Researcher’s Fellowship (YRF) programme. She finished both her Bachelor of Social Science and Master of Social Science degrees in Economics from the University of Dhaka. From her passion for writing & communications, in the last few years, she pursued work in SEO-focused article writing, marketing & business communications. Her current research interest mainly includes works within Climate Change, Gender Justice, and Economic Development sectors, and she’s excited to start learning.

Monitoring and Evaluation for Learning and Adaptation (MELA) Initiative

BIGD established the MELA (Monitoring and Evaluation for Learning and Adaptation) initiative to support the development organizations and donors to find the right balance of management coordination where learning the roles of M&E are promoted without compromising the accountability requirement for development effectiveness.
