Syed Mafijul Islam is a Senior Field Associate at the BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD), BRAC University. 

Prior to joining BIGD, he worked at the Research and Evaluation Division (RED) of BRAC for nine years, where he started his career. He has experience in supervising and monitoring field data collectors for several quantitative and qualitative research projects, and providing training to the field data collectors. 

Mafijul completed his Master’s in Islamic History and Culture from National University.
