Suranjit Paul is a Research Associate at the BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD), Brac University.
Prior to this, he was a Trainee Research Associate under the qualitative stream of the Young Researchers’ Fellowship (YRF) program at BIGD. His last appointment was as a Research Assistant at Bangladesh Civil Service (Administration) Academy, where he worked on a project titled, “An Impact Assessment of the PMO’s Special Assistance Programme for the Ethnic Communities Living in Plain Land Bangladesh (Except CHT).” Suranjit has a keen interest in intangible cultural heritage (ICH), international migration trends, cultural transformation in digital space and political ecology.
Suranjit has completed his BSS and MSS in Anthropology from the University of Dhaka.
