Safin Ahmed is a development communication professional and multimedia specialist with experience in strategic communications, advocacy, documentary storytelling, and digital content production. Prior to joining BIGD, he worked with BRAC, U.S. Forest Service, BRAC University, and Goopy Bagha Productions Limited, where he led communication initiatives, produced impact-driven documentaries, managed stakeholder engagement, and developed communication materials for national and international development programs. He also has independent consultancy experience with the International Labor Organization (ILO), Bangladesh Legal Aid and Services Trust (BLAST), and the International Organization for Migration (IOM), delivering multimedia and communication products for diverse humanitarian and development programs.
He holds a Bachelor of Social Science in Disaster and Human Security Management from Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) and has a strong interest in using visual storytelling and strategic communication to amplify development impact.
