Sadman Mujtaba Rafid is a Trainee Research Associate at the BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD), BRAC University, under the Young Research Fellowship (YRF) Program 2026.
He previously served as a Program Assistant at BIGD’s Governance and Politics Cluster. Prior to joining BIGD, he worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Kanazawa, conducting qualitative field research on women’s empowerment and employment generation, and at the Centre for Alternatives, as a field enumerator.
He completed his M.S.S. in Security Studies from the Department of International Relations, University of Dhaka, having earlier completed his B.S.S. (Hons.) in International Relations from the same institution.
