Raisa Adiba is a Programme Coordinator at the BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD), Brac University.
Previously, she worked as a Programme Manager at Traidcraft Exchange, a British non-profit, where she led EU-funded initiatives on agriculture, tea and climate and also oversaw the Global Fashion and Garments portfolio. Before her work in international development, Raisa worked in the private sector at HSBC, a multinational bank where she worked in the wholesale banking team and promoted sustainable and green finance. Her current research focuses on developing community-led, sustainable business models in Bangladesh’s care industry.
Raisa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Dhaka and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Development Studies at BRAC University. She is a certified Project Management Professional and a Financial Modeling and Valuation Analyst.
