Rabeena Sultana Ananna is a Research Associate under the Governance and Politics cluster at BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD), BRAC University.
Prior to this, she was a Trainee Research Associate under the qualitative stream of the Young Researchers Fellowship (YRF) program. Her last appointment was with the BRAC JPG School of Public Health for collecting data from child labourers engaged in waste management in Dhaka city. Rabeena completed her BSS in Anthropology from Shahjalal University of Science & Technology (SUST).

DUCSU elections, with 62 female candidates, reveal how women thrive when barriers of money and muscle are removed.
