Poly Begum is the Assistant Manager of the Finance and Accounts department at the BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD), Brac University.
Poly joined BIGD as Finance and Accounts Officer in May 2015. At BIGD, her main responsibilities include financial reporting, monthly payroll processing and disbursement, annual budgeting, fixed assets management, and coordination with internal and external audits. Before joining BIGD, she worked at Nijera Kori as as a Finance and Accounts Officer. Previously, she worked as a Finance and Administrative Manager at the Alternative Development Initiative (ADI), and as an Accounts and Admin Officer at Pathshala South Asian Media Institute.
Poly completed the Professional Stage (PS)–Knowledge Level in Chartered Accountancy from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB). She completed her Master of Commerce in Accounting from Jagannath University.
