Parvez Mahmood is a Trainee Research Associate at the BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD), BRAC University, under the Young Research Fellowship (YRF) Program 2026.
He is currently pursuing his Master of Social Sciences (MSS) in Economics from East West University, having completed his Bachelor of Social Sciences (BSS) in Development Studies from the University of Dhaka.
His last appointment was as a Field Research Assistant at BIGD, where he contributed to the “Voting Behavior and Campaign Strategies in Bangladesh” project through data collection and transcription. Prior to that, he worked as a Research Assistant at the Centre for Climate Society and Environment (CCSE), Jagannath University, where he assisted in developing, executing, and analysing climate change research focused on adaptation and mitigation.
