Nabila Idris, PhD, works part-time as a Research Fellow at BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD), BRAC University as a part- time Research Fellow. Dr Idris completed her Ph.D. in Development Studies from the University of Cambridge, UK in 2022. Since then, she has been a Visiting Fellow at the Open University in the UK, researching the possibilities of a global fund for social protection. Dr Idris completed a Master’s in Social Policy with distinction from the University of York and another Master’s in International Journalism and Communication from the Communication University of China, where she graduated at the top of her class.
Dr Idris is keenly interested in politics, policymaking, and social protection.
