Md. Raied Arman

Md. Raied Arman is a Senior Research Associate under the Economic Growth and Development cluster at the BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD), Brac University. 

He joined BIGD as a Research Associate. Raied’s projects at BIGD include the Women’s Skill Development for Freelancing Marketplaces (WSDFM) project and the different cohorts of the Ultra Poor Graduation Program (UPGP). Raied won he won the Best Paper Award in the 14th South Asian Economics Students’ Meet (SAESM) in 2018. He also assisted in multiple research projects under the supervision of his teachers while he was a university student prior to joining BIGD. Among these are projects under the banner of the United Nations and Policy Research Institute.

Raied holds a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Department of Economics, University of Dhaka.
