Md. Musthafizur Rahman Khan is working as a Manager – Human Resources at BIGD. He joined BIGD as a Project Officer in August 2012 to handle overall field operations of Affiliated Network for Social Accountability in South Asia Region (ANSA-SAR). In 2013, Musthafizur took over the charge of the BIGD Human Resources (HR) unit as its In-Charge. He coordinated the merger of the HR unit and worked to review the HR manual of the institute. Currently, he is involved in managing overall human resources activity, pre-employment preparations, recruitment and selection, joining and induction, maintenance and development, payroll management, and review of guidelines and forms and incorporate new ideas to facilitate HR operations.

Before joining BIGD, Musthafiz worked as a Project Expert-Capacity Development at the German International Cooperation (GIZ)- a technical part of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ)- for three years and was involved with administrative management, training and development, procurement management for Shishu Polli Plus (UK)- a British Charity Organisation- as the Manager-HR, Admin and Training. Earlier, he worked for 2 years from 2005 with Kohinoor Chemical Company as an Officer-Admin (VAT). He started his career as a development catalyst with Sabalamby Unnayan Samity (SUS). He is experienced in organisation development, evaluation, development, project management, networking and communication, materials development for smooth and safe communication and documentation.

Musthafizur Rahman Khan holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource (PGD-HR) from the Bangladesh Institute of Management (BIM), he received a certificate course from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), the University of Dhaka on HRMC. He completed his Master’s degree and Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Shahajalal University of Science and Technology (SUST).
