Md. Musthafizur Rahman Khan is the Manager of the Human Resources unit at the BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD), Brac University. 

Musthafizur joined BIGD as a Project Officer in August 2012 to handle overall field operations of Affiliated Network for Social Accountability in South Asia Region (ANSA-SAR). In 2013, Musthafizur was appointed as the in-charge of the institute’s Human Resources (HR) unit. He currently manages the institute’s pre-employment preparations, recruitment and selection, joining and induction, maintenance and development, payroll, review of guidelines and forms, and incorporation of new ideas to facilitate HR operations. Before joining BIGD, Musthafiz worked as a Project Expert-Capacity Development at the German International Cooperation (GIZ) for three years. He was also involved with administrative management, training and development, procurement management for Shishu Polli Plus (UK),  a British Charity Organisation, as the Manager of the HR, Admin, and Training unit. Previously, he worked as an Officer of Admin (VAT) for Kohinoor Chemical Company. He started his career as a development catalyst officer with Sabalamby Unnayan Samity (SUS).

Musthafizur completed his Master’s and Bachelor’s in Sociology from Shahajalal University of Science and Technology (SUST). He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource (PGD-HR) from the Bangladesh Institute of Management (BIM). He also completed a certificate course on HRMC from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka.
