Md. Al-Mamun is a Research Associate (Mathkendra) at the BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD), BRAC University.
Before joining BIGD, Mamun worked as a Research Assistant at the International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research, Bangladesh (icddr,b). He has extensive experience conducting qualitative and mixed-methods research on governance, gender, climate change, disability inclusion, and community development. He has collaborated on publications in leading Q1-ranked international journals, including The Lancet, Nature, BMJ, Heliyon (Elsevier), Wiley, SAGE, and Frontiers. Mamun also has considerable experience coordinating multidisciplinary research projects and collaborating with national and international research partners. Mamun completed his BSS and MSS in Sociology from Gopalganj Science and Technology University (GSTU), Bangladesh, graduating in first position in his cohort with High Distinction.
