Md. Al-Mamun is a Field Researcher (Mathkendra) at the BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD), Brac University.

Before joining BIGD, Mamun served as a Research Assistant at the International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research, Bangladesh(icddr,b), Dhaka, Bangladesh. His research interests are centered on issues pertaining to public health, social epidemiology, gender and sexuality, reproductive and child health, and climate change and environment.

Mamun has completed his Bachelor’s & Master’s in Sociology from the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University.
