Marjan Hossain is a Senior Research Associate at the BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD), Brac University.
Marjan joined BIGD as a Research Associate in 2020, under the Research, Policy, and Governance cluster. Prior to joining BIGD, Marjan worked as a Research Officer at Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies (BIDS), after which she worked as a Research Assistant at the Centre of Urban Studies for Sustainable Development, East West University (2019-2020). At BIDS, she aided and assisted in several projects under the Renewable Energy Technology (RET) systems that primarily involved impact evaluation studies.
Marjan has completed her Bachelors in Economics from American International University (AIUB) and her Masters in Economics from East West University, Bangladesh.
