Maisha Mumtaj a Data Associate at the BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD), BRAC University.
Prior to joining, she worked as a Research Officer (Data Science and Statistics) at DataSense, iSocial, where she contributed to multidisciplinary research projects involving survey data analysis, impact evaluation, labour market studies, migration, and international trade. She has worked on projects with national and international partners, including ILO, Cornell University, and UNCDF, and has experience in statistical modelling, machine learning, data visualization, and programming using Python, R, SQL, STATA, and Power BI.
Maisha holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Statistics and Data Science from Jahangirnagar University.
