Kabita Chowdhury is a Senior Programme Associate at the BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD), BRAC University.

Kabita has been actively involved in qualitative and quantitative research in the field of gender and development since 1989. Before rejoining BIGD, Kabita worked with the BRAC Development Institute and the Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies (BIDS). She also served in reputed national and international organizations, such as the Population Council, New York, Save the Children Fund, BRAC, Nagorik Uddyog, and UBINIG.
