Jahid Nur is a Research Associate at the BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD), Brac University. 

Prior to this, he was a Trainee Research Associate under the qualitative stream of the Young Researchers Fellowship (YRF) program. 

Jahid completed his Bachelor’s in Statistics from the University of Dhaka in 2018 and Master’s in Development Studies from Brac University in 2022. His master’s thesis was supported by the Covid Collective research platform where he tried to analyze the socio-economic constraints experienced by the female workers living in informal settlements in Dhaka city when re-entering the labour market during COVID-19.
