Faria Richi Mim is a Trainee Research Associate at the BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD), BRAC University, under the Young Research Fellowship (YRF) Program 2026.
She completed her Bachelor of Social Sciences in Sociology and is currently pursuing her Master of Social Sciences in Sociology at the University of Dhaka. Her academic research has focused on power relations in the global apparel value chain, examining governance patterns among global brands, local buying houses, and factories and their influence on working conditions and labour rights. She has also been actively involved in university organizations and voluntary activities.
