Programme Coordinator

Farah Muneer has joined BIGD as a Programme Coordinator. Farah started her career at ActionAid Bangladesh in 2010. Her last appointment was as Advisor at Right-fit-Evidence at Innovations for Poverty Action. During her career, she has worked in various capacities at UNDP and Institute for Inclusive Finance and Development (InM). She holds a master’s degree in development economics and policy from the University of Manchester. Her policy and research work includes various development issues such as poverty, food security, women empowerment, child protection, WASH, and SDGs.

Monitoring and Evaluation for Learning and Adaptation (MELA) Initiative

BIGD established the MELA (Monitoring and Evaluation for Learning and Adaptation) initiative to support the development organizations and donors to find the right balance of management coordination where learning the roles of M&E are promoted without compromising the accountability requirement for development effectiveness.
