Senior Associate, Corporate and Foundation Partnerships, BRAC USA

Emma Haseley is the Senior Associate, Corporate and Foundation Partnerships (CFP) at BRAC USA. She supports the team in proactively identifying and cultivating new donors, developing winning proposals aligned with BRAC’s mission, and building and stewarding strong, long-term partnerships with corporate and foundation funders. Prior to joining the CFP team, Emma was a member of BRAC USA’s Research, Learning, and Innovation team. Emma has been working with the WEE-DiFine team at BIGD since 2021. Before joining BRAC USA, Emma worked as an AmeriCorps VISTA for the non-profit ArtReach, as well as an intern for the consulting firm Iris Group International and Soomo Learning. Emma holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Women’s & Gender Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Women’s Economic Empowerment and Digital Finance (WEE-DiFine)

WEE-DiFine is a research initiative (2019–2024), which aims to generate a comprehensive body of evidence around the impact of digital finance (DiFine) on women’s economic empowerment (WEE) and the causal mechanisms between the two through funding rigorous research studies across South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Women's Economic Empowerment and Digital Connectivity (WEE-Connect)

WEE-Connect is a pioneering initiative addressing the persistent gender gap in digital connectivity in the Global South, aiming to bridge barriers for women, foster economic empowerment, and establish evidence-based strategies through inclusive research, best case practices, and the creation of a scholarly community focused on the intersection of digital connectivity and gender.
