Elijah Kipkech Kipchumba as a senior research associate at IERC oversees the research management to design research methods, tools, and field-level implementation. Currently, he is involved in studies on youth and women empowerment as well as disability-inclusive graduation. He also manages a research on the impact of soft skills on the income and wellbeing of adolescents in Tanzania, a project collaborated with the World Bank and IDRC. Before joining BRAC International, he was a research associate at Save the Children International for three years. He has seven years of experience working on studies in Kenya, Rwanda, Ethiopia and Somalia. Elijah holds BSc in Applied Statistics with Information Technology from Maseno University, Kenya. He is pursuing his master’s degree in Science in Quantitative Economics at Mekerere University.
