Baidya Nath Rajbongshi is a Manager of the Finance and Accounts department at BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD), Brac University.
Rajbongshi’s main responsibility at BIGD is treasury management, preparation of bank reconciliation on monthly basis, cash flow management, ensuring all kinds of national and international payment, and petty cash management and compliance with tax and VAT related NBR rules.
Before joining BIGD, he worked at BRAC International as the Country Head of Accounts in Sri Lanka from 2008-2013. Previously, he worked at BRAC Bangladesh in various roles. He started his career at BRAC as a Program Organiser of the Accounts department in 1995.
Rajbongshi has experience in managing continuous internal and independent external audit. He has extensive experience of financial reporting, ratio analysis, MIS, treasury and disbursement management, and budgeting. He also has an expertise in managing human resource.
Rajbongshi completed his Master of Commerce in Management from Jagannath University College in Dhaka.
