Ali Navir Khan, ACA, is the Senior Manager of Grants Management at the BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD), BRAC University.
Navir is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB). He started his career at Cosmos Group as a Deputy Manager of the Audit and Information System in 2014. His last appointment was as a Senior Manager of the Finance and Administration department at ARK Foundation, Bangladesh, where ensured the effective management of the finance, human resources, and administrative functions of the organisation, with focus on project planning, budgeting, financial information recording, and reporting.
Navir has completed his Master’s and Bachelor’s in Business Studies with a major in Accounting from the National University. In addition to his academic qualifications, he is also a qualified Chartered Accountant and hassuccessfully completed the executive level from the Institute of Chartered Secretary of Bangladesh (ICSB).
WEE-DiFine is a research initiative (2019–2024), which aims to generate a comprehensive body of evidence around the impact of digital finance (DiFine) on women’s economic empowerment (WEE) and the causal mechanisms between the two through funding rigorous research studies across South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa.
WEE-Connect is a pioneering initiative addressing the persistent gender gap in digital connectivity in the Global South, aiming to bridge barriers for women, foster economic empowerment, and establish evidence-based strategies through inclusive research, best case practices, and the creation of a scholarly community focused on the intersection of digital connectivity and gender.
