Tasin Rashid

Tasin Rashid has joined the BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD), BRAC University, as a Trainee Research Associate in the qualitative stream of the Young Researchers Fellowship (YRF) program. 

Previously, he served as a Research Assistant on a UNFPA-funded project. 

Tasin completed his Bachelor’s in Women and Gender Studies and is nearing the completion of his master’s in the same field from the University of Dhaka.

Md. Rakibul Mobin

Md. Rakibul Mobin has joined the BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD), BRAC University, as a Trainee Research Associate under the Young Researchers Fellowship (YRF) program. 

Previously, he worked as a Research Intern at the South Asian Network on Economic Modeling (SANEM), and as a content writer for several organizations. 

Rakibul completed his Bachelor’s from the Department of Economics, University of Dhaka.

Wasema Rahman Sreya

Wasema Rahman Sreya has joined the BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD), BRAC University, as a Trainee Research Associate under the Young Researchers Fellowship (YRF) program.

Previously, she consulted on projects spanning themes of climate change, healthcare, digital financial services, and sanitation in Bangladesh.

Wasema completed her Bachelor’s in Marketing from the Institute of Business Administration at Dhaka University, and is nearing the completion of her Master’s in Economics from East West University.

Tasnia Isbat

Tasnia Isbat has joined the BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD), BRAC University, as a Trainee Research Associate under the Young Researcher’s Fellowship (YRF) program.

Previously, she completed her internship at bKash Limited, where she worked at the Enterprise Risk Management division.

Tasnia completed her Bachelor’s in Economics with the highest distinction from BRAC University.

Prataoy Kabya Bhowmik

Prataoy Kabya Bhowmik has joined the BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD), BRAC University, as a Trainee Research Associate under the Young Researchers’ Fellowship (YRF) program. 

Previously, he worked as an intern at the World Bank Bangladesh, where he participated in the survey work of the RAISE project.

Prataoy completed his Bachelor’s in Applied Statistics from the University of Dhaka. 

Anika Tahseen Nuva

Anika Tahseen Nuva has joined the BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD), BRAC University, as a Trainee Research Associate under the Young Researchers Fellowship (YRF) program.

Her last appointment was as a Research Assistant at the Department of Population Sciences, University of Dhaka. Additionally, she has contributed to various research projects supported by national and international development agencies.

Nuva completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s in Population Sciences from the University of Dhaka.

Usama Rafid

Usama Rafid has joined the BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD), BRAC University, as a Trainee Research Associate under the Young Researchers Fellowship (YRF) program.

His last appointment was as a sub-editor at the The Business Standard. Previously, he worked at Roar Bangla as a Social Media Manager.

Rafid completed his Bachelor’s and is pursuing his Master’s in Mass Communication and Journalism and from the University of Dhaka.

Mohammad Ifaz Uddin

Mohammad Ifaz Uddin has joined the BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD), BRAC University, as a Trainee Research Associate under the Young Researchers Fellowship Program.

Previously, he worked as a Research Assistant at the Culture and Life-Span Development Laboratory, University of Chittagong.

Ifaz completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s in Psychology from the University of Chittagong.

Ishraq Sabbir Nirjhor

Ishraq Sabbir Nirjhor has joined the BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD), BRAC University as a Trainee Research Associate under the Young Researchers Fellowship program.

Previously, he worked as a research assistant under a project of the University Grants Commission (UGC).

Ishraq completed his Master’s in Mass Communication and Journalism from the University of Dhaka.

Md. Ashikur Rahman

Md. Ashikur Rahman has joined the BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD), BRAC University, as a Trainee Research Associate under the Young Research Fellowship program.

Previously, he worked as a project manager at Cubistudio and volunteered with various student organizations.

Ashikur completed his Bachelor’s from the Department of World Religions and Culture, University of Dhaka.
