Youth-led civil society in Bangladesh plays a crucial yet underrecognized role in the civic landscape. Despite historic contributions to political and social movements, youth organizations remain marginalized, under-resourced, and often tokenized. The July 2024 Uprising marked a turning point, fostering new youth-led political and civic platforms. However, structural barriers, limited civic space, and weak institutional support continue to constrain their potential to contribute meaningfully to a dynamic and inclusive civil society.
