2022 was a profound year for BIGD, one that set us firmly on the trajectory towards our shared vision of knowledge for a better world. This year, BRAC, one of our key partners, turned 50 and the Ultra-Poor Graduation (UPG) program, arguably the most consequential anti-poverty program of BRAC, turned 20. These milestones have helped shape our perspectives on the value of research-program partnerships in designing agile, learning-driven and iterative development interventions to tackle the volatile and complex challenges of today’s world. The BIGD Reflections 2022 Report looks back at our priorities and achievements over the past year, and sets our course for 2023, as we step onto a decade of our journey.
