Every year, news says the same on raging epidemics in Bangladesh. That they have struck Bangladesh, that it is worse than last year’s and that the official agencies like the city corporations, health departments and so on have failed to arrest the situation, let alone cope with the rising health toll. Initially, the public responds to it with anger, but soon, they stop doing so as they have to take care of themselves anyway. After a great deal of sufferings, the epidemic rolls out its natural course and it is forgotten till it hits again.
