Dr Imran Matin talked at a discussion session on “The Social Policy Process: Using Research-Based Evidence in Poverty Elimination Policies” organized by the International Growth Centre (IGC), STICERD, LSE Department of Economics and BRAC. He asserted, “The more we can find ways of creating effective productive social protection, the more we can save resources, in the long run, to be able to invest in protective social safety nets that are really required, and I think that is smart politics too.”
