BRAC organised a ceremony at BRAC Centre Inn in the capital to hand over the certificates to 10 women and one transgender person who got professional driving training from the organisation. While presenting a study report by BRAC Institute of Governance and Development BRAC senior fellow Maheen Sultan said that a study jointly conducted by BRAC, BIGD and BRAC University in 2017 showed that 94 per cent women using public transport and streets in Bangladesh had experienced sexual harassment.
