Moyukh Mahtab, a student of BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD)’s Master of Development Studies (MDS) program, has received the Best Graduate Student Thesis Award under the Research Excellence Award 2022, awarded by BRAC University. The title of his thesis is “A Microhistory of a Mass Mobilisation: Peasant Agency and Solidarity in the 1990 Anti-Shrimp Movement of Polder 22, Khulna.”
