To mark the International Women’s Day, the Institute of Development Studies (IDS) arranged an online discussion on 10 March 2022 at 8pm, with an international panel of speakers, including Pragyna Mahpara, Senior Research Associate, BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD), and Iffat Jahan Antara, Research Associate, BIGD. The speakers shared their experiences, learnings, and tactics for countering backlash against gender justice and disinformation targeted at women that frequently occur in online spaces. The session was chaired by Becky Faith, Leader, Digital and Technology Cluster, IDS.
