South Asian Network on Economic Modeling (SANEM) organized their 6th SANEM Annual Economists’ Conference (SAEC) 2023 on “Building Resilience to Shocks: Priorities, Challenges and Prospects” in Brac Centre Inn, Mohakhali, Dhaka on 4-5 February 2023 both in-person and online.
The two-day conference held sessions on health, education, poverty, inequality, environment, labour market, gender, trade, structural transformation, macroeconomics, monetary economics, energy, digital economics and emerging global economic challenges where scholars and economists from around the world will present their research works. Maheen Sultan, Iffat Jahan Antara and Md. Raied Arman from BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD) presented at the conference.
