Women’s Economic Empowerment and Digital Finance (WEE-DiFine) is a research initiative aimed at generating a comprehensive body of evidence on the causal impact of digital financial services on women’s economic empowerment. Based at the BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD) in Dhaka, Bangladesh, the Initiative supports rigorous research projects exploring this theme in South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. Following the success of the first Request for Proposals, WEE-DiFine is excited to announce the launch of its second Request for Proposals.
This webinar shared insight on what the WEE-DiFine team looks for when reviewing technical proposals and budgets. Topics covered included eligibility criteria, requirements for each category of funding, preferred proposal characteristics, eligible and ineligible expenses, and competitive distribution of funds. Time was also be allotted for individual questions.
