Workshop | Research to Action

BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD) entered its 11th year with a special workshop titled “Research to Action.” The objective of this workshop was to engage a select group of stakeholders to discuss and generate actionable outcomes in policy, practice, and ideas.

For this workshop, five research studies were selected for their potential real-world implications. Participants engaged with each topic by reading a pre-prepared synthesis note followed by listening to a brief presentation by the relevant researcher. This formed the basis for the participant to reflect on the research-to-action agenda, considering the way forward, potential challenges, viable entry points, key stakeholders to engage with, and additional questions that need to be addressed.

Our goal was to collaboratively discuss our research in terms of practical actions.
