The Master of Arts in Governance and Development (MAGD) program at BIGD, Brac University, has been training promising policymakers in Bangladesh and beyond to become high-impact leaders since 2005. In 2022, MAGD was meticulously redesigned for those working in government agencies, non-profits, researchers and policy institutes, think tanks, and journalists, as well as for young professionals, who want to make public policy work for development.
As part of the academic campaign of MAGD, a four-part online lecture series titled “Making Policy Work for Development” is thoughtfully designed to promote the MAGD program. The deadline to enroll in this program is 17th August 2023.
So far, we have had the privilege of hosting three distinguished speakers in the field, who shared their invaluable insights:

Following the lecture, the interactive half-hour Q&A session provided attendees with the opportunity to further explore the ideas presented and engage in fruitful discussions with the esteemed speaker.
