Equitable development is possible if care work is valued by women, men and society

Mr. Aly Zaker, renowned cultural personality stressed the importance of women’s contribution to society and the country and that it should be acknowledged. Women’s role and participation in the economy and society is changing , and society has to take this into account. Aly Zaker was addressing the inauguration ceremony of the six-days photo exhibition titled “Images of Caring Men” (wfbœiƒ‡c cyi“l), organised by Centre for Gender and Social Transformation (CGST) of BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD), BRAC University on Saturday, 23 August, 2014 at Dhaka Art Center, Dhanmondi. He also said equitable development can be possible through the work of men and women together.
