Shahjalal Rashid Chowdhury
Shahjalal Rashid Chowdhury joined BIGD in March 2014. As HR Officer-II, he is involved with staff recruitment and selection process, performance appraisal, contract, disciplinary actions, induction and orientation, grievance and disciplinary procedures, leave management, HR records documentation.
Prior to joining BIGD, he pursued his career as Junior Executive, HR in SMEC International Pty Ltd. for a period of one year and one month. He attended many trainings and workshops organised by SMEC Int. Pty Ltd. He completed his internship programme from Grameenphone IT Ltd. Shahjalal also had organising exposure while working as Senior Member of AIESEC at the Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) – which is an international not-for-profit organisation that provides students with leadership training and internship opportunities at for-profit and not-for-profit organisations. He was also an active member of Business Students Society (BSS) in IUB & IUB Film Club (IFC). He completed his BBA majoring in Human Resource Management from Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB). He also completed his Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from Association of Business Practitioners, UK. Currently, he is pursuing his MBA degree majoring in Human Resource Management from Independent University, Bangladesh. Shahjalal aims to be a globally renowned HR specialist. He would like to serve his nation by turning the highly populated country into a human-capitalised country.
