Manager, Administration and Logistics
Nahid Waliul joined the institute (former IGS) in 2009 as Programme Officer Administration. After being the Senior Admin and Logistic Officer during 2010-2011 in the unit, he is now working as the unit manager since April 2011. His key responsibilities include supervising BIGD Administration team, providing logistics support to BIGD’s public events like international conferences, public lectures, workshops, seminars, launchings etc., maintaining inventory data, fixed asset management, material requisition, coordinating with BRAC University’s procurement department in relation to goods and service procurement of BIGD and also to ensure overall smooth and timely logistic support to the Institute.
Prior to joining BIGD, he worked as a Sales Adviser of British Gas Plc, UK (2000-2002) and as a Deputy Manager of Ryman Ltd, London (2003-2008).
Nahid Waliul holds an LLB Honours degree (Bachelor of Laws) from the University of London.
