Currently Sanjida is associated with BIGD as an Affiliated Fellow. BIGD may call on her to utilise her expertise, based on specific need.
Earlier, Sanjida joined the institute in November 2013 in a project ‘A study to identify effective advocacy and social communication practices’ where she was involved in collecting information about what works in the process of public policy making and implementation in the health sector. From January 2014, she has worked in the project ‘Impact Evaluation of the DFID Programme to accelerate Improve Nutrition for the Extreme poor in Bangladesh-2nd Phase’, at the EEP site (Sunamgonj). In this project she was involved in field test, tools development, conducting field work and assisting in final report writing. She also took part in the Mixed Method Workshop: Impact evaluation of DFID’s Nutrition & Livelihood interventions in Bangladesh with IDS and IFPRI team. Her formal employment at BIGD ended with the closure of the project "Maximising the quality of scaling up Nutrition (SUN) programmes framework (MMQSUN)" on March 31, 2016.
Sanjida completed her BSc (Hons) and MSc in Nutrition and Food Science under Dhaka University. Her fields of interest are sustainable development, gender and health issues.
