Level- 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply
Aim: The CIPS Level 4 provides the first stage of learning for individuals seeking to progress & complete further stages of the CIPS ladder.
Contents: 5 Compulsory Modules:
D1. Contexts of Procurement and Supply
D2. Business Needs in Procurement and Supply
D3. Sourcing in Procurement and Supply
D4. Negotiating and Contracting in Procurement and Supply
D5. Managing Contracts and Relationships in Procurement and Supply
Requirement: Either graduation or equivalent as determined by CIPS, successful completion of CIPS level 2 or 3 or 2 years relevant experience.
Level- 5 Advanced Diploma in Procurement and Supply
Aim: Level 5 has been developed to equip the individual with the knowledge and skills to operate with confidence in the managerial aspects of purchasing & supply
Contents: 3 Compulsory Units Plus 3 Optional:
AD1. Management in Procurement and Supply
AD2. Managing Risks in Supply Chains
AD3. Improving the Competitiveness of Supply Chains
AD4. Category Management in Procurement and Supply
AD5. Sustainability in Supply Chains
AD6. Operations Management in Supply Chain
Requirement: Must have successfully completed CIPS level 4 or have been exempted.
Level- 6 Professional Diploma in Procurement and Supply
Aim: Level 6 intends to provide extensive knowledge at the strategic level in purchasing and supply. The participants will therefore have achieved the status of Purchasing and Supply Professional (MCIPS, an internationally recognised gold standard of achievement for procurement professionals) defined by the Institute.
Contents: 3 Compulsory units plus 3 optional:
PD1. Leadership in Procurement and Supply
PD2. Corporate and Business Strategy
PD3. Strategic Supply Chain Management
PD4. Supply Chain Diligence
PD5. Program and Project Management
PD6. Legal Aspects in Procurement and Supply (UK)
Requirement: Must have successfully completed CIPS level 4 & 5 or been exempted.
Completion of the Programme
8 months for each level
